This survey course focuses on four women recognized for their faith: Hildegard of Bingen, Julian of Norwich, Margery Kempe, and Joan of Arc.
This is a book discussion of Faith and Wisdom in Science by Tom McLeish. McLeish is a Professor of Physics at Durham University who has written about the intersection of science and theology. He challenges the current “science and religion” debate as operating with the wrong assumptions and in the wrong space.
Enjoy a guided tour through the book that has been the organizing force in our Anglican worship for nearly 500 years. Participants will learn its treasures, quirks, and deeply biblical theology.
