May 20, Monday: Depart for Queen Alia International Airport


May 21, Tuesday: Arrival in Amman, Jordan

Upon arrival in Amman, transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight


May 22, Wednesday: Amman - Mt. Nebo - Baptismal Site - Madaba

After breakfast, we will visit Mt. Nebo where Moses viewed The Promised Land, then go to the site where Jesus was baptized. We’ll see the ancient mosaic map in Madaba that dates to the 6th century AD and contains the oldest surviving original cartographic depiction of the Holy Land. Amman hotel for dinner and overnight


May 23, Thursday: Amman - Petra

Our bus will take us to Machaerus Fortress where Herod Antipas beheaded John the Baptist. We will have the option to hike to the top of the ruins. After dinner in Petra, we have the option to visit the beautiful Petra by Candlelight.


May 24, Friday: Petra/Departure for Tel Aviv

Full day in Petra, Dinner and overnight at Petra Hotel Group not going to Jordan departs for Tel Aviv


May 25, Saturday: Arrival in Nazareth, Israel

Jordan group crosses into Israel. New group arrives in Tel Aviv and transfers to Nazareth, Sisters of Nazareth for dinner and overnight


May 26, Sunday: Nazareth - the Hometown of Jesus

This morning we can share Eucharist w/local Christians at Christ Church in Nazareth. We will visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, Mary's Well Orthodox Church and the first century tombs under the Sisters of Nazareth Guesthouse, where we will again stay for dinner and overnight


May 27, Monday: Caesarea Maritima - Mt. Carmel - Haifa

We will visit Caesarea Maritima-official residence of the Roman Authority, Mt. Carmel where Elijah defied the prophets of Baal, and overview the beautiful Baha'i Gardens. Sisters of Nazareth for dinner and overnight


May 28, Tuesday: Nazareth – Sea of Galilee – Magdala – Capernaum – Mt of Beatitudes

Today we start with a tour into the First Century at Nazareth Village, then our bus will take us to the Sea of Galilee where we will visit Magdala, Capernaum, and the Mt of Beatitudes Guesthouse for dinner and overnight with a lovely view of the Sea of Galilee


May 29, Wednesday: On and around the Sea of Galilee – Eucharist – Jesus Boat Ride

On this day we will take in the area where Jesus performed His ministry in Galilee at Eremos, St. Peter’s Primacy, Tabgha, Kursi, have Eucharist by the sea, take a Boat Ride, and stay at the Mt of Beatitudes Guesthouse for dinner and overnight


May 30, Thursday: Mt of Beatitudes - Caesarea Philippi - Jericho

We will visit the beautiful springs of Banias and Caesarea Philippi in the north, then travel to Jericho, with an option to take a cable car to the Mt. of Temptation Monastery that is built into the side of the mountain, Jericho Resort Hotel for dinner and overnight


May 31, Friday: Masada – Qumran – Dead Sea

First stop, historic Masada where you’ll have the option to take a cable car or hike down, we’ll explore Qumran and the World of the Dead Sea Scrolls, and enjoy a float on the Dead Sea! Jericho Resort Hotel for dinner and overnight


June 1, Saturday: Jericho – Bethany - Bethlehem

Our day will begin with a tour of the Jericho of Jesus’ time. We will visit the Church of Lazarus in Bethany and arrive in Bethlehem at Manger Square Hotel for dinner and overnight


June 2, Sunday: Shepherd’s Field – Herodian – Olive Wood

We’ll celebrate Eucharist at the Shepherds’ Field, explore the Herodian where it is believed Herod the Great is buried, visit a Christian Olive Wood workshop and store, Manger Square Hotel for dinner and overnight


June 3, Monday: Mt Gerizim - Jacob’s Well

Every morning in Bethlehem, part of our group can join other pilgrims in the Grotto of the Nativity for an early morning Eucharist. This day we will journey to the ancient world of some of the few remaining Samaritans on Mt. Gerizim, then visit the original Jacob’s Well, have a tour of the Church of the Nativity and see the Banksy Museum, Bethlehem Manger Square Hotel for dinner and overnight


June 4, Tuesday: Solomon’s Pools – Ein Kerem – Holocaust Museum

We will visit the beautiful area where the Song of Solomon was written, then Ein Kerem, birthplace of John the Baptist and the Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem. Bethlehem Manger Square Hotel for dinner and overnight


June 5, Wednesday: Jewish & Palestinian speakers – Jerusalem – Western Wall – Temple Mount

Hear different perspectives on The Conflict at a Jewish Settlement and a Palestinian Refugee Camp where speakers will share about their lives and beliefs, then to Jerusalem, the Western Wall, Temple Mount, St. Anne’s Bethesda and St. George’s Jerusalem Hotel for dinner and overnight


June 6, Thursday: Jerusalem – Mt. of Olives – Garden of Gethsemane

Today we will walk down the Mt of Olives, visit the beautiful Church of Mary Magdalene, the Garden of Gethsemane, and the Church of All Nations. St. Georges Hotel for dinner and overnight


June 7, Friday: Way of the Cross – Israel Museum – Mt. Sion

We will start early walking and meditating upon the Stations of the Cross, visit the fascinating Israel Museum that contains ancient artifacts, Byzantine relics and a model of 1st Century Jerusalem, experience Eucharist on Mt. Sion, St. Georges Hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight


June 8, Saturday: Emmaus – Free Afternoon – Church of the Resurrection

Our day will begin with a tour of the Church of the Resurrection (Holy Sepulcher). Our bus will take us to celebrate Eucharist as we remember Emmaus. We’ll have a free afternoon and, Lord willing, be locked in the Church of the Resurrection from 19:00-23:00 when it is closed & quiet, St. Georges Hotel Jerusalem for dinner and overnight


June 9, Sunday: Free Day in Jerusalem – Farewell Dinner

You can share Sunday worship with a local congregation, walk the ramparts of the Old City or just explore this fascinating Heart of the World. Lunch on your own and a Farewell dinner, overnight at St. George’s Hotel in Jerusalem
