Episcopal Campus Ministry (EpiC)

EpiC is a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Olympia for College Students. We are active with the students of Western Washington University (WWU), and we also welcome students from Whatcom Community College, Bellingham Technical College, and Northwest Indian College. We are an extension of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Bellingham.

EPIC is a small, friendly bunch of Episcopalians and friends of Episcopalians. We meet for church at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church (2117 Walnut St.) on Sunday mornings at 10:30, and for EPIC meetings most Sunday evenings at 6:30 in Viking Union, room 462A. Please join us from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. most Sunday nights for our regular EPIC meetings. During the winter 2017 quarter, our theme is, “What is Episcopal theology?”

We also get together monthly for dinner at St. Paul’s or at the homes of St. Paul’s members. Check the Calendar tab on this site for specifics and variations.

When I ask the current EPIC members what our group has been for them in the past year, they usually start with the word community. Then comes friendship.

"EPIC has been an anchor", says one student. In a time of upheaval: it has provided a routine to help manage her crazy college life.

So no matter who you are, or where you find yourself on your journey of faith, we hope that EpiC might be a supportive place to explore all your questions, and that St. Paul’s Episcopal Church can help you engage with the broader church through worship, service, and learning.

Please join us.
