Those of us who attended the group last year enjoyed reading and discussing books that we had always wanted to read, but never found the time. Please consider joining us Tuesday, September 22nd at 1:00 in the church library and discover the truths that the classics have to offer. Tea and a light snack will be served.
For the September meeting, Linda Tiffany will lead a discussion of My Name is Ashur Lev by Chaim Potok. It is the story of a young man, born into a devout Jewish family and community, who struggles to reconcile his need to create art with the restrictions and expectations of his community.
Since September 22nd is the start of Yom Kippur, this is an appropriate read.
