What Is Journey? Learn More over Dinner December 3
Journey is …
1) A process by which adults prepare to be baptized.
2) A process by which Christians prepare to reaffirm their baptismal vows.
3) A powerful way of building community outside of Sunday mornings.
Since the earliest days of Christianity, Christians have been brought into the church through the “catechumenal” process. Here at St. Paul’s, we call this process Journey. And it’s not just for those who aren’t yet baptized. In addition, any others who seek renewal of their faith are welcome to come alongside them, deepening their own learning while supporting those who are to be baptized.
Journey will be held on Wednesday nights beginning January 7. It will culminate at the Great Vigil of Easter on April 4, and its Wednesday night meetings will continue until May 20.
If you feel the slightest tug of the Spirit at these words, please join us in the Great Hall for dinner on Wednesday evening, December 3, at 6:30 p.m. to learn more about Journey. Please RSVP to Kathy Mintz at firstname.lastname@example.org.
