Walking with St. Paul’s on MLK Day and a Beach Cleanup.

Join some of your neighbors on a gentle, level stroll along the beach and paved trail at Semiahmoo Spit on the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday on Monday, 16 January.  We will walk 1-2 miles observing marine life and the abundant shore birds and raptors that habituate Semiahmoo and Drayton Harbor this time of year.

Afterwards (about 11:00 a.m.) those of us who wish can team up with Re-Sources for its annual January beach cleanup.  And those who elect not to have the option of enjoying brunch in front of the fireplace at Semiahmoo Resort.

Meet at St. Paul’s parking lot at 9:00 a.m. to carpool to Semiahmoo (or meet us at the parking lot at Semiahmoo County Park at 9:30).  Our plan is to return to St. Paul’s by 2:00 p.m.  For further information, contact Erik Axelson at
