The mission of the Pastoral Care Ministry is to create a Christian community of volunteer lay chaplains united in prayer, shaped by Benedictine spirituality, and equipped for pastoral care ministries. The volunteers participate in training and serve in a variety of settings where pastoral needs exist.
A major emphasis is on Sean Humphrey House. www.seanhumphreyhouse.org whose mission is to optimize the quality of life for low-income individuals living with HIV/AIDS, who may also suffer from other diseases and disabilities, and who are unable to live independently.
